How to reach the conference center and the hotels in Bensheim from the Frankfurt Airport ("Flughafen") by car

• From the airport take the motorway A-5 direction "Basel". The distance between the airport and Bensheim is approximately 50 km . The exit for Bensheim is the number 30.

• From the Bensheim exit take "Wormser Strasse" . Near the end of this street, before the railway bridge, you find  on the right side the Ramada-Treff Hotel (free parking places next to the hotel are available).
  

• After the railway bridge, turn left on the "Rodenstein Strasse". Due to temporary construction work it is necessary to turn left before the railway bridge, follow "Dammstrasse" and turn right at the next opportunity into "Schwanheimerstrasse", which becomes "Am Rinnentor", see map).

• After 30 m turn left into "Promenadenstrasse" where (next to a HL-market) you find the closest parking garages. From there the conference center ("Bürgerhaus") is within 3 minutes walking . The parking rate is 0,70 euro per hour (6:00am-8:00pm), 2 euro per night (8:00pm-6:00am), 7 euro per day. The Praesenzhof Hotel  has limited parking for the guests. The Bacchus Hotel  also offers free parking in front of it.
  

How to reach the conference center and the hotels in Bensheim from the Frankfurt Airport ("Flughafen") - via Frankfurt main railway station ("Hauptbahnhof", Hbf) - by train

• From the Airport to the Frankfurt main railway station

If you land at the Terminal 2, take the sky-line and reach the Terminal 1.

From the Terminal 1 follow the indication for "Regional train/Frankfurt" platform, located at the underground level.

Train tickets (directly for Bensheim) must be purchased in one of the several DB Reisezentrum before getting on. We suggest to buy the ticket through your travel agency.

There is a train every 15 minutes, either a regional train RE (direction "Frankfurt Hbf") or local trains S-8, S-9 (direction "Hanau"), every hour. We suggest not to take the trains  IC or ICE since their station is outside the airport building.

Some trains stop in the main railway station at the underground platforms, others at the ground level platforms.

The duration of the travel is 10 minutes. Please plan additional  5-10 minutes at the Frankfurt station for the train change to Bensheim.

• From the Frankfurt main railway  station to Bensheim

  Once in the main station proceed to the ground level and look for a regional train for "Heidelberg".

  There is a train every hour, from 5:07 am until 11:07 pm. Some faster intercity ( IC ) trains are also available (see detailed list of trains, October 16 17 18. For more details visit the Die Bahn English web page) .

  The duration of the travel is about 30 minutes with IC train and  45 minutes with a regional one (without any other change).

   

• From the Bensheim railway station ("Bahnhof")

  you can reach by foot in 5 minutes the congress center, the Praesenzhof Hotel  and the  Bacchus Hotel, or take a taxi outside the station. The Ramada-Treff Hotel is at 10 minutes walking distance from the station.
