EURISOL Design Study: Beta-beam Task

Description.
This is a post-processing program for use on binary data files written by the LeCroy 574AL or similar model
Digital Storage Oscilloscope. The software is requires IDL to compile and run. There are also some calls to
compiled c-code routines inside idlclib3.so. These are called from IDL for reading the LeCroy binary files.
The c-code is also supplied with the .tgz file below. The principal application of this data analysis suite is
for beam diagnostics, namely the post-processing of pick-up and RF gap-voltage signals.

• Excel sheet used to calculate dual harmonic RF parameters under the constraint of a flattend potential: XLS
  Such buckets enable a higher bunching factor to be achieved than is possible with single harmonic RF systems.

• Inside this tar-zip file is an IDL script which plots the separatrix and calculates the longitudinal acceptance of a dual harmonic RF bucket: TGZ
